Annette Funicello is an American performer and actress. Her most famous role was that of "one of the original Mouseketeers" from The Mickey Mouse Club. The singer's career began as an young adolescent. Annette was born in Utica to Italian parents. As a child she had a lot of anxiety. Mid-1950s she gained significant recognition through her performances as a character in "Disney" comedy sketches.
